Staizkart is a platform for discovering and booking verified rental accommodations, and for browsing and applying to internships and jobs posted by companies.

Information we collect

Account information — when you sign up, we collect your name and either a phone number or an email address (you choose which), used solely to send a one-time verification code and identify your account.

Profile information — an optional profile photo, and for property owners or companies, business details such as business/company name, address, and industry.

Activity information — listings you enquire about or book, reviews you write, internships you apply to (including application details you choose to provide, such as college, course, skills, and a resume file), and items you save to your wishlist.

Certificates — if you complete an internship through the platform, a completion certificate tied to your account may be issued and stored so you can view or verify it later.

How we use this information

To verify your identity and let you log in via a one-time code
To connect renters with property owners, and applicants with companies
To let providers and companies respond to your enquiries, bookings, and applications
To generate and let you verify internship completion certificates
To moderate listings and postings for quality and safety

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Information you submit through an enquiry, booking, or job application is shared with the specific property owner or company you're contacting, so they can respond to you. We also use a small number of service providers to operate the platform, who process data on our behalf under their own security practices:

Cloud database and application hosting providers, to store and run the service
Cloud storage, for uploaded photos, documents, and certificates
SMS and email providers, solely to deliver login verification codes

None of these providers are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

Data retention

We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active, so your booking history, applications, and certificates remain accessible to you. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact details below.

Your choices

You can edit your name, profile photo, and contact details from your profile at any time.
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or request that it be deleted, by contacting us below.

Children's privacy

Staizkart is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed verification codes, access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data.
