Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Staizkart's website (staizkart.com) and mobile app, operated by Staiz Finder Tech Pvt. Ltd. ("Staizkart", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. What Staizkart is

Staizkart is a marketplace that connects:

Renters with property owners listing hostels, PGs, flats, coaching centres, libraries, gyms, and mess services
Students and job-seekers with companies posting internships and jobs

Staizkart is not a party to any rental agreement, tenancy, employment, or internship arrangement made between users of the platform. We provide the platform that connects both sides; the terms of any listing, booking, or offer are between the users involved.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
Accounts are verified via a one-time code sent to your phone number or email address — you're responsible for keeping access to whichever you registered with.
One account type is fixed at signup (renter, property owner, or company) and determines what you can do on the platform.
You're responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Verified badges

A "Verified by Staizkart" badge means a member of the Staizkart team has personally visited the property (or, for a company/internship posting, personally reviewed the company and posting) in person and confirmed it meets our quality standards before the badge was granted — it is not just a documents-only check. That said, conditions can change after verification (a room gets rented out, staff or management changes, a listing goes out of date), so it reflects our assessment at the time of verification, not a live, ongoing guarantee. Always confirm current details directly with the property owner or company before finalizing a booking or application.

4. Property listings & bookings

Property owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for honoring bookings and enquiries made through the platform, including the price and terms communicated when they accept a booking request.
Staizkart does not inspect properties in person as a standard part of every listing, does not guarantee availability, and is not responsible for the condition of any property.
When a property owner accepts a booking, the renter pays Staizkart's booking fee (see Section 6) through the platform. Rent, deposits, and all other payments are made directly between the renter and the property owner, by whatever method they agree — see our Refund Policy for how this affects refunds.

5. Internships, jobs & certificates

Companies are solely responsible for the accuracy of their postings and for how they manage applicants.
Staizkart is not the employer and does not guarantee a stipend, offer, or job outcome from any application.
Completion certificates reflect information reported by the company through the platform. Staizkart facilitates certificate generation and verification but does not independently audit the underlying work performed.

6. Fees

Browsing, sending enquiries, and internship applications are free. Once a property owner accepts a booking request, a booking fee — 20% of the listed rent — is payable by the renter through the platform via Razorpay. This fee is Staizkart's charge for the service of connecting you with the property owner and confirming the booking; it is separate from rent, which is never collected by Staizkart. Property owners and companies may also be charged a verification fee to have a listing or profile reviewed for a Verified badge; this is currently tracked and invoiced outside of the in-app payment flow. All fees are communicated before being charged.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, postings, reviews, or applications
Use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or defraud another user
Attempt to circumvent account verification or impersonate another person or business
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform's normal operation

8. Content you submit

You retain ownership of photos, documents, reviews, and other content you upload. By submitting it, you grant Staizkart a license to display and use it for the purpose of operating the platform (for example, showing your listing photos to other users).

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including fraudulent listings, postings, or repeated user complaints. You may stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

Staizkart is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions or interactions between users of the platform, including rental agreements and internship arrangements made through it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bihar, India.
